EPISODUL 2--O speranță vie - 1 Petru 1:3–12

In 1 Peter 1:3–12, Peter lifts believers’ eyes from the pressures of the present to the greatness of the salvation they have received in Christ. He does not begin with advice on how to survive temptation, but with praise to God, because the foundation of the oppressed heart is not in itself, but in the living hope born of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. This message shows us that we have an incorruptible inheritance reserved in heaven, that we ourselves are guarded by the power of God on the way, and that the fire of temptation does not destroy true faith, but purifies it.
