All my springs are in you (Psalm 87:7b) We walk sustained by God's faithfulness and mercy in all stages of life. Even in the face of struggles, illnesses, weaknesses, and seemingly impossible situations, the Lord remains present, caring for us and guiding our steps. The greatest miracle we receive is salvation in Christ, which makes us daughters of God and gives us a new identity. Therefore, we are called to live in gratitude, trust, and dependence on the One who never abandons us. Along the way, we discover that prayer is not just a spiritual practice, but a way of cooperating with God's purposes. When we persevere in intercession, our vision is broadened, and we begin to see beyond our immediate needs. The Lord invites us to participate in what is in His heart, teaching us to seek God's interests much more than our own. Thus, we learn that it is worthwhile to trust in God's timing and remain steadfast in what He places before us. An indispensable source for this journey is solitude with God. Unlike loneliness, it is the place where our hearts find fullness in the Lord's presence. It is in this intimate environment that we open our lives before Him, receive direction, correction, comfort, and encouragement. It is also in this place that the Word of God becomes food for our spirit, being kept in our hearts to produce transformation, discernment, and obedience. When we set aside quality time to be with God, we are strengthened to live according to His will. (2 Timothy 2:15; Psalm 119:11) Another essential source is recognizing Jesus as the centrality and sufficiency of our lives. When Christ occupies the primary place in our hearts, we find contentment both in times of abundance and in times of difficulty. This truth helps us overcome murmuring, comparison, envy, and dissatisfaction, leading us to a life of gratitude. From this central point of view, we are called to please God through a life of holiness, humility, purity of heart, obedience, and love for His interests. (Psalm 23; 2 Corinthians 3:5; Hebrews 11:6; Colossians 1:10) We are invited to walk with God daily, living in alignment with His will and rejecting that which separates us from His presence. As we grow in intimacy with the Lord, we learn to hear His voice more clearly and to reflect His light in our walk. May our desire be to live in such a way that God finds pleasure in us, seeing daughters who love Him, seek Him, and remain faithful to the end. (Psalm 87:7; Ephesians 5:8-10; 1 Peter 1:17) Questions for reflection 1. Have I set aside quality time to be alone with God and hear His voice? 2. In what areas of my life do I still need to acknowledge Jesus as my complete sufficiency? 3. What do I need to change to walk closer to God and please Him in my attitudes and decisions?
