Salt & Tar: Ep.347- My Fair Lady

Let the fairing begin. Now that the fiberglassing is done it is on to fairing leading up to painting. Garrett has begun priming the hull now that he's finished refastening. Even under the boat stands. We work together to get the rudder down. Garrett cleans it up and accesses how best to go about remounting the hardware. Gary, a fellow cruiser and welder, made our pintles anew and also made us a couple new gudgeons. He had them treated with 3M's Scotchkote which is what they use out on deep sea platforms! Several other little things get done this week getting us closer and closer to the water once again. Thanks for watching! p.s. I try and reply to as many comments as I can but we are still so so busy so please do not take it personally 💕 Much love!!!
