About the speaker Dr Richard Sutton is a professor of computing science at the University of Alberta and a research scientist at Keen Technologies. He received the 2024 ACM A. M. Turing Award, often referred to as the “Nobel Prize in Computing”, for his founding contributions to modern, algorithmic reinforcement learning. He is also a founder of Openmind Research Institute.
