Los lunes al sol: Toletum romana. Diálogo entre pasado y presente
“Roman Toletum: A Dialogue Between Past and Present.” Dr. Rebeca Rubio, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Toledo (UCLM), presents Toletum through the archaeological remains and interventions in the city, allowing us to reconstruct the image of this urban center with its distinctly Roman character, in keeping with the ideal of urban life. We take a journey to piece together the traces of its road network, the walled enclosure, its aqueduct, as well as public and residential spaces and buildings. Rebeca Rubio, an expert in Roman archaeology specializing in Roman urban planning and architecture, has also directed the ARCYT Research Group (Roman Archaeology of the City and Territory) at the University of Castilla-La Mancha since 1999.
