Näin amerikkalaisen unelman rauniot
Detroit, also known as Motor City, is the center of the American automobile industry and was once one of the most appealing places in the country. Then things happened: the auto industry declined, and money and people vanished. Now, by some measures, Detroit is the most miserable city in the U.S. I thought that perhaps one could sense bitterness about the state of the country there and get to the core of its divisions. However, Detroit revealed surprising sides of itself. It was one of the most memorable places on that journey. I hope to visit again someday.
