Quiet Hiking along Corsica's West Coast

In August of 2023, I hiked alone for 5 days along the North-West coast of Corsica. I began the hike in a town called Porto and finished in Galéria. Both places are accessible by hitchhiking or by bus. The coast between these two towns is almost completely wild and unaltered by humans. It is also extremely rugged with steep cliffs and mountains of red granite extending into the sea. A hiking trail follows this epic coastline and also passes a campground, 2 beach restaurants and a small village. Campgrounds and Restaurants are essential when hiking along the coast at this time of year, as they are the only sources of drinking water. All the natural water sources near the coast are dried out until reaching the valley just before Galéria which has a river.
