Looking for a Lost Canal - 5 - The Liskeard & Looe Union Canal
I head to the Cornish town of Liskeard to try and uncover the remains and any evidence of the former Liskeard & Looe Union Canal, which ran in the direction of the coastal town of Looe, deep in the beautiful Looe Valley. *CORRECTION* In the video I point to what I thought were remains of Moorswater Station - this is, in fact a limestone unloading bay, for the nearby limekilns. The former Station site of Moorswater is now inaccesible to the general public, hidden away behind the new Network Rail green fencing towards the Cormac Depot, and a little further south to the limekiln I show in the video. #canal #cornwall
