La Mal Aimable│French Waltz for Accordion/Melodeon

La Mal Aimable by Jean-Christophe Lequerre is a French Waltz usually played on the melodeon or diatonic accordion (accordéon diatonique). It's also sometimes known as Le Petit-Déjeuner or p'tit déj. It's a popular session tune for melodeon players. This is my arrangement of La Mal Aimable for accordion, guitar, mandolin, clarinet, bass and tambourine. There's a bit of controversy surrounding the meaning of the name as it doesn't translate well into english. Some say it means a kind evil, others say in means unlovable. There's also the opinion that it may be a pet name for a child that's a pain in the backside. Unfortunately, all the wide angle footage was out of focus, so enjoy the close ups!
