Test Plot Data Doesn't Matter If There Is No Context!
When looking at different test plots, one thing has Always aggravated me. There's No Context. It's just a couple numbers, two dates, and lots of bragging about the yield winner. To me...that data is useless. That changes now. We're back in the 23 variety corn test plot that I put in with Central Valley Ag, and I am going to take you on a journey filled with contextual data. When this is all done, you should, if you were paying attention in class, be able to understand exactly how this plot was established, tended to, and what sort of yield environment we are in. Think of context as the mortar that holds the "bricks" of data together and allows them to take shape.
