This vlog is dedicated to my hero, my father! For those of you that don't know my father, Papa Bingham, passed away a few days ago. Losing a father was an unexpected, emotional & tearful goodbye to Papa Bingham, and saying goodbye, after losing a dad, was undoubtedly the hardest thing we've done as a family. Although his departure was sudden and premature he was surrounded by everything that mattered to him in this life, and in the raging tempest of uncertainty there was great peace. He lived a selfless life dedicated to his wife and five children. He worked hard to provide for his family and to ensure they never went without while taking no thought for himself. As a man of international business who traveled the world visiting more than 50 countries he ignited a passion for world travel in his family, always sharing his adventures through souvenirs and bedtime stories. Often referred to as “Disneyland Dad” he went above and beyond to make every moment and every occasion something spectacular, turning the mundane into magic. As a true disciple of Jesus Christ and the embodiment of Christlike living he was filled with charity, hope, love, and kindness. This could be felt by all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him. He looked at others the way our Heavenly Father sees us and felt a deep love for complete strangers before ever learning their name. He saw the world through rose colored glasses and could only find the good in everyone. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints the gospel was central to every decision he made. He lived every day with an eternal perspective and although gone from this life we know he is reunited with his Savior Jesus Christ saving seats at the celestial table for his eternal family where he did all he could to ensure there will be no empty chairs.
