Police Officer Dies by Suicide After Lasik Complications: Family
Millions of people have had safe Lasik eye surgery and are thrilled to see clearly without the help of glasses or contact lenses but there are rare instances when things go wrong. The family of Ryan Kingerski, a 26-year-old police officer, says he committed suicide after he experienced severe complications from the surgery. Ryan's parents, Tim and Stefanie, say their once-vibrant son started experiencing headaches, blurred vision, and a buzzing sensation in his face.
