2-Ingredient Homemade Cheese – Just Milk & Lemon! 🧀🍋✨

This homemade cheese is made with just two simple ingredients — fresh milk and lemon juice. No rennet, no preservatives, no complicated equipment. The result is a soft, natural cheese with a clean, fresh taste. Perfect for spreading on bread, adding to salads, or enjoying on its own. 📝 Ingredients: 2 liters fresh milk (about 8 cups, 3.2% fat recommended) 1 lemon (juice only) 👩‍🍳 How to make it: Pour the milk into a skillet or saucepan and heat it, stirring gently. Do not let it boil. While the milk is heating, cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice through a strainer to remove pulp and seeds. Once the milk is hot, pour in the lemon juice. The milk will start to curdle immediately. Cover and let it sit for 15 minutes. Line a strainer with 2 layers of cheesecloth and pour the cheese mixture in. Gather the cheesecloth into a bundle, then place it back in the strainer with a weight on top. Refrigerate for 1 hour to allow the cheese to set.
