One of the biggest events for fourth-year undergraduate students (or the second semester of third year) is "laboratory placement." For students, it's a first-time experience. They often hear only (bad) rumors, which can be quite anxiety-inducing. In this video, I, a current #university professor, share my experiences as a former student, 15 years as a researcher, and 10 years running an independent laboratory (as of 2023).
