Camino a Santiago Day 28: Sarria to Portomarin
I am now less than 100K from Santiago. And I got my first blister. There goes my superhuman feet theory. I’m also now sharing the road with what seems to be 10x more people as Sarria is the starting point for nearly 50% of all pilgrims on the French Way. And yet, if you try, you can still find your little corner of zen. Which brings me to Portomarin. My arrival town for the day captivated me instantly; because of both, the river crossing to get into it, and it’s unique history…after being purposely destroyed and relocated in the 1960’s.
