How to Attach SHOULDER ARMOR to a CAPE

Normally, people will use velcro which is slapped on both the body piece and the pauldrons-- which makes total sense! I think that's a great method. Buuuut, for situations where you aren't attaching the armor directly to the breastplate, it makes it a little more tricky. So in this technique, you can't just plop them onto the straps of the rest of the armor. Instead, I use d-rings and then loop velcro around them. I also go over how I made the multi-piece, or "tiered", pauldrons. :) enjoy! A pauldron (sometimes spelled pouldron or powldron) is a component of plate armor, which evolved from spaulders in the 15th century. As with spaulders, pauldrons cover the shoulder area.
