We start the 2026 walking season with a walk on Denny Way from beginning to end. We end up on the shores of Lake Washington. 0:00 Walk map 0:30 Walk starts at the humble beginning of Denny Way at Elliott Way, heading east 2:05 Denny Way starts as a busy arterial at Western Ave 8:50 Denny and Broadway St 16:30 Denny and Dexter Ave, Denny Park, the first city park in Seattle, ahead on left 19:55 Denny and Westlake Ave 24:00 Denny and Fairview Ave 25:35 Denny and Minor Ave, Seattle City Light Denny Substation on left 28:30 Crossing I-5 30:50 Denny and Melrose Ave, entering Capitol Hill 33:05 Denny and E Olive Way 37:35 Denny and Broadway 38:40 Denny Way and Cal Anderson Park 45:15 Denny and 15th Ave E, Kaiser Permanente Hospital on left 50:15 Denny and 19th Ave E 52:30 Denny and 21st Ave E, Denny veers right 53:20 Denny and E Madison St, turn left onto Madison for a block to reconnect with Denny Way 54:55 Madison and 23rd Ave East, veer a little to the right to get to Denny Way 1:01:05 Denny and Martin Luther King Jr. Way E, Denny-Blaine neighborhood 1:05:25 Denny and 32nd Ave E, right and then a quick left to get back to Denny Way 1:08:50 Denny and 34th Ave E 1:12:10 Denny, Madron Pl E and 38th Ave, check out Denny-Blaine Lake Park, and then right onto 38th, the end of Denny Way 1:17:00 38th and pedestrian path that is Pine St 1:18:35 Pine St and Madrona Dr, Vally of the Gnomes ahead.
