DragonFable | The Chaos Slayers | Chaosweaver (crutchless)

Credit goes to ‪@sienrid‬ for doing the first clear of this fight years ago (   • DragonFable | The Chaos Slayers | Chaoswea...  ), and especially for the idea of killing Thief first and DL second within the same burst cycle (see the Crutchless Theory in his spreadsheet). This was really fun to plan out, and the comparative ease with which ChW can now do this fight (thanks to Revenant's Remnant) after the first two Chaos Lords die makes me feel a bit dirty. You might already be a bit skeptical as to how this is done since DL provides her allies with 30%/50% DR throughout the fight, but the trick is to kill Thief first and DL second, as the DR does not apply to her. The catch is that in order to pump out that much damage, we need to get lucky. Untangle is used to knock Thief to around 2k HP, with Slice being used the following turn to kill him, as long as we get 2/2 crits. With the chip damage in our opening, DL will be at about 7k HP once Thief dies, and triple crit Rebuke should ideally knock her just outside of 25% HP — this isn't as simple as it sounds, though, as crit RNG in said opening as well as damage variance on Rebuke can easily push her below 25% HP, triggering a Flux Heal. We don't really have the option to throttle our damage either, as we're more or less locked into using Rip and Siphon immediately after Rebuke, and using Siphon on DL is non-negotiable due to the massive DR on her allies. We could swap out Veragiri on Rebuke for a static dmg weapon like Debris 2, but even with stunning Thief on T7 to avoid the -DEX, we still end up short on dmg and take a significant hit to our crit. Killing DL is just a massive pain, and there is unfortunately not much we can do about it. If we do manage to get lucky enough, the rest of the fight is considerably better, as long as you get at least one Siphon crit when you finish off DL. This didn't happen to me in the recording, but I did make it up with some genuinely insane RNG. Even if you do have enough HP to spare, you'd still want to fish for Mystic glances to reset his INT bonus, as we don't have threads to spare for eShred, and our next use of Scales is a little while away. Either way, as long as you survive to the next use of Aegis on T17, everything should be smooth sailing afterward, as we just need to stall until we get two threads. Once everything is in place, we use eAegis on T26, and Mystic dies the next turn to Untangle. Rebuke is then used on Berserker, but I never developed a solid plan for bursting her down and mostly riffed it. I knew you could brute force through a Flux Heal with at least 2/3 Rebuke crits, and I'd imagine you could Flux Skip with 1/3 since Siphon would not get her below 25% HP on T31, but either way, she dies to a crit Snap on T32. It might be better to save Veng for her instead of Mystic, and there's room to use Party Tog as well, but I didn't want to bother with optimization given how bad the opening is, even with Zard Legs. Cleric goes down like a chump after everyone else is dead, so there isn't much to say there. 2 HP 1 MP 0:00 Chaos Lord Thief 3:13 Chaos DragonLord 4:21 Chaos Lord Mystic 10:32 Chaos Lord Berserker 12:32 Chaos Lord Cleric
