Solo Road Trip in Nasu, Japan | Discovering Nasu’s Hidden Nature【Eng Jap Sub】

March 19–21, 2026 I took a relaxing solo road trip through Nasu, Tochigi, enjoying the early signs of spring in Japan. During this 3-day journey, I visited Genganji Temple, Ryumon Falls, Taiheiji Temple, the Kanaya Iwauchiwa flower colony, Kinomata River, and Otome Falls, while also enjoying local hot springs, roadside stations, and shopping along the way. Of course good foods too. One of the highlights of this trip was seeing the beautiful “Iwauchiwa” flowers blooming quietly in the mountains. Iwauchiwa is a native Japanese wildflower that grows only in limited regions. At Otome Falls, I was lucky to spot a Brown Dipper, a unique bird that can dive underwater while hunting.
