The Beacons Way | Solo Hiking & Wild Camping | I had to BAIL!

I decided to take on the epic challenge of trying to complete The Beacons Way solo and self-supported and admit, it was the most mentally and physically challenging thing I have ever done. The whole 99 mile (159km) walk should take at least eight days, however, I was making so much progress that I was aiming to finish it in 6 days, carrying 19kg on my back, and wild camping along the way. The trail's path starts from Abergavenny in the east to Llangadog in the west, passing through key points like Pen y Fan, The Skirrid, Llyn y Fan Fawr, and various historical sites. The trail often goes off the beaten track taking routes into back country not usually explored by the average walker. (The drone footage was filmed on separate days as I couldn't fit it into my bag!)
