Deep in the heart of southeastern China lies a landscape so dramatic, it looks like a masterpiece sculpted by the hands of the gods. This is Wuyishan National Park. And behind me is the legendary Tianyou Peak—also known as the King Peak. It’s not the highest mountain by elevation, but with a massive, sheer vertical cliff rising straight out of the valley and 999 steep steps carved directly into the rock face, it is celebrated as the undisputed 'Number One Viewpoint' of Wuyishan. Today, we are climbing to the edge of this monument to look down at the world below. Let's see if our legs can handle the climb."
