THIRD LEVEL – TIME RUNNER

TIME RUNNER began long ago as one of those strange, hard-to-place melodies that felt too unusual to ignore, but impossible to fully understand at the time. It stayed in the sequencer as an idea, a fragment, a direction — something worth saving, even before I knew what it truly wanted to become. Years later, after 2010, I returned to it during the later Futurewave period, as that sound world slowly evolved further into what became Polytron. In that form, TIME RUNNER eventually found its place on the Polytron album New Era. Now the track has taken another step forward. With AI-assisted vocal creation, I was finally able to give the melody a voice: melody and lyrics became vocal lines, the new vocal elements were brought into the DAW, the original tracks returned, and from that collision of past and present, a new version was born. This Third Level version is not a replacement of the old one. It is another stage in the life. A melody that survived multiple eras. A track that kept moving through time. A song that waited for the technology that could finally unlock the form hidden inside it. And maybe this still isn’t the final step. Maybe sometime in 2153, someone will find this music in an old archive — and bring it back to life once again.
