The highest peak of Cortina d’Ampezzo The third section of Tofana – Freccia nel Cielo cable car allows the visitors to reach the peak of the highest mountain of Cortina d’Ampezzo, the Tofana di Mezzo (3244 m), and to admire the landscape, having a 360° perspective on the Dolomites thanks to a large panorama terrace. The view that can be enjoyed from this point is unique and spectacular, turning Cima Tofana into a nearly “spiritual” place. Cima Tofana is also the perfect starting point and arrival for different hikes, via ferratas and climbing ways. During Summer, a refreshment point will be open and many different events will be organised, offering for example to visitors the opportunity of admiring sunrises and sunsets over the main Dolomites tops, which dominate the Ampezzo Valley, from a privileged position. Furthermore, incredible high altitude naturalistic events, enlivened by music and a buffet, for all the mountain lovers, who desire to live a real unforgettable experience. For mountain bike fans, from Col Drusciè you can descend along the dirt road towards Pie Tofana to access trail 410 towards Passo Posporcora, or you can take the Pie Tofana chairlift to then go back up towards Pomedes. The Bike Park Cortina offers visitors 4thrilling trails, which start from the Col Drusciè restaurant to descend to the bottom of the valley and arrive directly in the centre of Cortina!
