OMG, THANE's FIRST QUEER FLASHMOB 2017 by YAARIYAN

Yaariyan, the LGBTQ youth initiative of The Humsafar Trust took to streets and performed Thane's 1st Queer Flashmob at Upvan Lake on 21stJanuary, 2017 at 5:30pm. The flashmob was a part of the pre pride events of the Mumbai pride 2017. It was held to create awareness about LGBTQ(lesbian,gay,bisexual,transgender, queer) members of the society and to fight for equal rights and to bring down the archaic law of IPC Section 377 which criminalizes same sex activity.
