Perodua Nippa (Kancil) alternator belt change - how hard can it be?
Join me as I demonstrate just how easy it isn't to replace the alternator belt (which I incorrectly call a fan belt at one point) on our 2001 Perodua Nippa (or Kancil in Malaysia). This is a mighty Daihatsu Mira but built in Malaysia. It has an 847cc, three-cylinder engine and barely any equipment at all. No, that's wrong. It has a rear wiper. That's quite posh for one of these. It is also rusty in places. The Americans would call it a Loser Car. Here in the UK, it is pure Autoshite.
