Vintage Velocity with Patrick Blakeney-Edwards | Frazer Nash's, Main Stage at Glastonbury & Podiums

Patrick’s love for cars began in a childhood filled with fun and the sound of broken-down Austins and Alvis.’ He’s never had a conventional job—even his time as a drummer didn’t quite fit the mould. Today, through his company Blakeney Engineering, he maintains and races a range of historic cars, becoming a highly skilled racing driver in the process. Rather than spending on advertising, Patrick let his driving do the talking—his success on the track building his reputation and business alike. While chain-drive Frazer Nash’s are closest to his heart, it’s the engineering and mechanics that truly fuel his passion. Lifelong friendships formed through the VSCC (Vintage Sports-Car Club) have shaped and supported the business. From pre-war Ferraris and Bentleys to 1950’s Jaguars, the company’s expertise has grown over the years—often guided by the enthusiasm of long-standing clients, many of whom have been with him since the early days.
