Blanco State Park | RV Camping in Texas State Parks This week we take you to Blanco, Texas in the beautiful Texas Hill Country to one of the very first Texas State Parks which also happens to be one of the very smallest Texas State Parks. Join us as we explore Blanco State Park! Built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in 1933-1934, Blanco State Park opened to the public in 1934. It sits on the beautiful Blanco River less than a mile from the historic downtown Blanco town square. Blanco State Park may be small, but it has a lot to offer!
