19th Nyapin Nyokum Yullo Mega Dance 2022

Nyokum is annual festival of Nyishi Tribals from Arunachal Pradesh. This festival is celebrated to invocate spirit forces for harmony, prosperity and well being of everyone. Three day prayers and traditional rituals are performed during this festival and Mithun (Bos frontalis) is sacrificed. Local Millet wine is prepared by the Nyishi women in huge quantities for everyone who attends the festival, free of cost. Local food, wine, culture, dances, traditional attires, folk music, and the whole journey into Nyishi Tribe, this festival is a must see and is a feast for all your senses.
