Young Swimmer Big Goals
Spent a session working through mobility and strength with Grayson, a young swimmer with serious potential. His mobility is already in a great spot. Where there's room to grow is strength. That's normal at his age. The body is still developing and the gym work and proper technique are what bridge the gap between moving well and performing. Grayson's taking a bit of a break right now to rebuild after an injury that cost him his shot at the Commonwealth Games swimming trials. Tough timing. But there's a lesson in it. Sometimes the setback is the thing that forces you to build the body properly before you go again. He's getting himself right, and then he's having another crack at it.
