Graduated from Berklee College of Music in the United States. Received the Special Jury Prize at the 2005 Gibson Jazz Guitar Contest. In 2014, he made his debut at the Tokyo Jazz Festival with the Daisuke Kunita Trio. Shortly thereafter, he released his second album, "In My Life," featuring world-renowned pianists Hiromi Uehara, Alex Machacek, and Steve Hunt. This work has received high praise from J.W. Black, a former Fender Senior Master Builder known for building guitars for Eric Clapton and others, who is the first Japanese person to offer a guitar as a monitor. In 2019, he released his third solo album, "abstract/pop." In recent years, he has also participated in numerous game and anime recordings, and has appeared as a guitarist on some of Japan's most iconic titles, including "Super Smash Bros.
