This time, we went fishing early in the morning at Otake Beach in Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City! It is known as a spot that can be easily enjoyed nearby. On this day, it was a spring tide, so we aimed for the timing just before high tide, and had a short game from 5:30 to 8:00. We aimed for a 20cm or larger fish with one worm and a No. 7 hook, but in the end, we carefully picked up medium-sized fish. The catch was mainly 13 to 18 cm, and we didn't catch any over 20 cm, but we were satisfied with the good tempo of fishing that took advantage of the high activity in the early morning! Used a single lugworm and size 7 hook to pick off mid-sized whiting one by one. Most were in the 13–18 cm range—not quite 20 cm, but plenty of bites made it a fun and fast-paced morning.
