How to Shoot Portraits in the Rain: Creative Photography with a model on a very rainy night.
Most photographers will not venture out on a rainy day or night. So those who do can capture images that are rare and unique. With a bit of planning and fore-thought, rain can offer some great advantages to both subject and photographer. This shoot with the amazing @laylaschillert will show you how to do it. Keeping gear dry is a major consideration that can be solved by using plastic bags over lights and camera (if needed). Shooting from a covered area with visual access to the rain will ensure that your model will stay relatively dry and comfortable for the entirety of the shoot. Back-lighting the rain drops adds impact to the images as does the use of coloured gels
