PORSCHE'S OTHER GROUP C CAR! The Story of the Porsche 962 (1984-1994)

Porsche already had one Group C weapon but they got rid of it because they wanted to run two series with one car. Essentially what they do now with LMH and LMDH So instead of using two different cars, they built one car that was eligble for both series... And won both series. Multiple times. Although the wins dried up with the emergence of Toyota, Jag, Sauber/Mercedes and Nissan, the Porsche 962s still carried on, taking wins and being a car that could be used semi-competitively.
