Summer Walleye Fishing With Dispy Divers On Lake Erie - Sonar Lit Up With Baitfish
When the sonar lit up with piles baitfish (probably Gizzard Shad) I knew we were in for a good day. In late summer you need to go deep so we sold out with dipsy divers on all the lines. Its the easiest way to fish for walleye deep in late summer. The Dipsy diver setup allows you to get deep without a lot of line. Its easier to spin back when trolling than with planer boards.
