Understanding The Sjogren Shotgun
TIMESTAMPS: 0:49: Welcome 1:40: Part 1 - How to Pronounce 2:50: Part 2 - History (Short Version) 5:40: Part 3 - Overview (External Handling) 9:20: Part 4 - The Inertia System (How it Works) 14:30: Part 5 - How the Sjogren Works (Disassembly) 54:20: Part 6a - Reassembly and Troubleshooting Jams/Issues 1:38:38: Part 6b - Troubleshooting Feeding Issues Specifically, Ammo Selection 1:51:37: Part 7 - Shooting, Handling, User Experience 2:02:10: Part 8 - Final Thoughts & Conclusion I've never understood why people desire the Sjogren. So I got one. I've put hundreds of rounds through it. It's broken several times. I've spent nearly 100 hours fixing it and getting it work. I've learned a lot about this shotgun. I still don't understand why people desire them. They aren't good, but I guess they're sort of cool in the "I'm surprised that works as well as it does" way, but that's not to say that these things work well. Because they don't. Anyway, I figured I should make a video which will be several things: The first in a series looking at inertia operated shotguns (of which there aren't many different systems) A deep dive into the Sjogren and how it works, including detail disassembly and reassembly Troubleshooting tips and tricks based on having fixed this one up to working condition and helping others get theirs to such a state Shooting footage, because A) there's not much of these things actually shooting at something online, and B) because these guns make explaining and showing (and understanding!) inertial operation very easy. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm Ivan.
