A Visão de Cristo e a igreja - Fábio Falcão

Message preached at the church of São Gonçalo - we look to Revelation 1:12-16 where John had the vision of the Glorified Jesus. John saw seven golden lampstands, which represent the seven churches. In the midst of the lampstands was someone "like the Son of Man" (Jesus), dressed in a long robe down to his feet and a golden belt around his chest, symbolizing his presence and his priestly function. His hair was white as wool or snow (holiness), his eyes like a flame of fire (purification), and his feet like burnished bronze, refined in the fire (judgment). His voice sounded like the sound of many waters (authority). In his right hand, he held seven stars (the elders of the churches), and from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword (the Word of God that judges). His face shone like the sun at its full strength, representing his divinity and glory.
