MTH Premier 4-4-0 Detroit & Lima Northern #7

MTH's recently delivered custom run made for Pat's Trains, a replica of the 1897 Baldwin Detroit & Lima Northern RY. 4-4-0 #7 that is maintained in operating condition at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, MI. Although MTH's premier 4-4-0 tooling is accurate to the New York Central 999 locomotive, by using their pallet of changeable detail parts and a beautiful paint job, the model was able to fairly reasonably replicate the prototype locomotive. I'm quite pleased with the results delivered! A few minor details added after delivery including a new custom made brass smokestack and some paint details have inched it even closer to accuracy.
