The Power of Dance | Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre in the Community

For more than 55-years, The Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's core mission has been to provide audiences with exciting performances such as Romeo and Juliet, the Wizard of Oz and the Nutcracker. However, one of its other key missions is to share the joy of dance to communities throughout the region. In this story, we take you to the Hope Academy of Music and the Arts in East Liberty where ballet fundamentals are taught to young students. We also visit Pittsburgh Manchester Pre-K through Eight School on the City's Northside for a dance class designed for students with Autism.
