The level of riding is an obvious factor, but in reality it's so much more. The variety of riders and riding styles (and events) makes it not a street or a park event, but just pure BMX. The endless practice time makes for zero stress. The free beer makes things loose. The vibe from the crowd. Etc etc... If you've never been to a BOH, I suggest you make it out to one.
