Aku meluangkan cuti hujung minggu drive balik ke Johor Bahru untuk ziarah family aku. Bawa jiran Cyberjaya aku sekali sebab dia tak pernah betul-betul melawat bandaraya JB ni. Seperti biasa aku mulakan dengan sarapan pagi di gerai Nasi Lemak Aishah di Pasar Taman Dahlia. Kemudian, makan tengah hari yang sedap di Restoran Sri Pantai Asam Pedas di Kampung Sungai Melayu, terkenal dengan hidangan asam pedasnya yang penuh rasa. Lepas makan, kami naik bot cruise di Sungai Melayu Ecotourism dengan harga cuma RM35 seorang. Cruise ni bawa kami menyusuri kawasan paya bakau yang tenang sambil nampak ular di atas pokok, biawak dan pelbagai jenis burung. Salah satu highlight adalah singgah di ladang kupang yang terletak di tengah-tengah Selat Tebrau, bersebelahan dengan Singapura. Aktiviti ini memang berbaloi untuk dicuba kalau korang bercuti ke Johor Bahru! Sebelum pulang, singgah shopping di Johor Bahru City Square. Dan sebelum pulang ke Cyberjaya, kami singgah di restoran ayah aku di Melaka dan kemudiannya ke Bukit Bintang dan terus pulang ke Cyberjaya. Packed betul weekend aku kali ni! I spent my weekend driving back to Johor Bahru to visit my family. Brought my neighbor from Cyberjaya along since he’s never really explored JB before. As usual, I started the day with breakfast at Nasi Lemak Aishah in Pasar Taman Dahlia. For lunch, we had an amazing meal at Restoran Sri Pantai Asam Pedas in Kampung Sungai Melayu, famous for its rich and flavorful asam pedas. After that, we went on a boat cruise at Sungai Melayu Ecotourism for just RM35 per person. The cruise took us through the peaceful mangrove forest, where we spotted snakes on trees, monitor lizards, and different species of birds. One of the highlights was stopping by a mussel farm right in the middle of the Tebrau Strait, just next to Singapore. This activity is definitely worth trying if you’re visiting Johor Bahru! Before heading back, we did some shopping at Johor Bahru City Square. On the way to Cyberjaya, we stopped by my dad’s restaurant in Melaka, made a quick detour to Bukit Bintang, and then finally went home. This weekend was seriously packed! 📍 Eco Tourism Kg.
