It is the pure expression of freedom and the deepest motivation behind existence itself. Topics Love as the Purpose of the Path Saja explains that every genuine spiritual teaching ultimately points toward love. Wisdom is valuable only because it helps remove the misunderstandings that prevent unconditional love from being fully embodied. The Heart Awakening He reflects on his early spiritual journey, where devotion inspired overwhelming experiences of love, God, and freedom. Although deeply transformative, these experiences remained emotionally unstable because they lacked a clear framework of understanding. The Trap of Spiritual States During the devotional stage, he became attached to extraordinary experiences and sought to recreate them through altered states. This state-seeking reinforced the belief that enlightenment was another experience to attain rather than one's present nature. The Intellectual Awakening Studying nondual teachings provided conceptual clarity and helped dissolve many spiritual misconceptions. However, intellectual understanding alone introduced a new danger: mistaking awareness for a lifeless, blank state instead of living reality itself. When Concepts Replace Experience Saja describes how identifying with the concept of "consciousness" caused him to suppress his natural vitality. Rather than expressing freedom, he unknowingly filtered experience through another subtle identity. Thoughts, Feelings, and Perception The illusion of limitation is continually recreated through ordinary experience. Thoughts, emotions, and sensory perception become convincing only because they are interpreted as evidence of separation rather than appearances within awareness. From Concealment to Revelation At first, the world seems to hide our true nature by convincing us we are separate individuals. Through inquiry, the same world becomes a mirror that reveals awareness instead of concealing it. Life as Celebration Once separation dissolves, experience is no longer interpreted as an external reality. Every object, relationship, and moment becomes life celebrating itself through countless forms, expressing freedom simply because it can. Pure Desire The deepest motivation is not driven by external goals or rewards. Love, happiness, and freedom require no explanation—they are pure desires whose fulfillment is their own purpose, making love both the path and the destination.
