Three Lighthouse Keepers Vanished. No One Knows Why.
Three experienced lighthouse keepers. One remote Scottish island. Then they vanished. In December 1900, James Ducat, Thomas Marshall, and Donald McArthur disappeared from the Flannan Isles Lighthouse without a trace. When the relief ship arrived days later, the lighthouse was deserted. A meal sat untouched, one keeper's coat still hung inside, and no bodies were ever found. More than 120 years later, the disappearance remains one of Britain's greatest unsolved maritime mysteries. In this documentary, we examine the evidence, the investigation, and the most credible theories behind what happened on Eilean Mòr, separating historical fact from the myths that have grown around the case. What do you think happened on Eilean Mòr? Let me know your theory in the comments.
