2018 Davis Dinner: An Interview with Ignat Solzhenitsyn, hosted by Matthew Rojansky
On Monday, November 5, 2018, the Kennan Institute hosted the Kathryn and Shelby Cullom Davis Dinner at the Library of Congress. The event was a celebration of the Solzhenitsyn Centenary and the first-ever English translation of Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s memoir from his years in exile in the United States, Between Two Millstones. The Kathryn and Shelby Cullom Davis Dinner, inaugurated in 2007 through a generous donation from Kathryn W. Davis and her family, is intended to raise public awareness of individuals demonstrating outstanding and enlightened leadership in connection with the U.S.-Russian relationship.
