White Zebra Pair - Day 12 to 22

Welcome to Part 2 of my white zebra pair breeding. It is day 12 to 22 - interesting times for the chicks as they grow their feathers. Light colored chicks most likely grow with white feathers. Expectations: The female White is crested, a dominant trait, so I am hoping to get at least one crested white bird. At day 16, it is already noticeable that one of the chicks is crested based on the spread out feather growth on the head. Dirty White At Day 14, one of the chicks already shows mottled with dark feathers. It only gets better as it grows day by day. Out of the Box By day 19, the eldest chick is already wandering out of the nest box. First instinct of any breeder is try to bring it back. As for myself, as long as I see that the parents are feeding their chicks both inside and outside, I just leave them be.
