Broken Arrow Trail, Sedona, AZ | On The Trail
We take you on another off-road adventure through the gorgeous vistas of Sedona, Arizona, which is known as one of the most beautiful places in the American Southwest! In this episode, we’re taking you on a bucket list trail everyone should experience in the latest episode of “On The Trail.” 0:00 Jeep JK & Lexus GX470 in Sedona, AZ 2:03 Off-Roading Essentials 3:00 Start of Broken Arrow Trail 4:34 Submarine Rock 5:58 Chicken Point Overlook 7:15 Lexus GX470 & Jeep JK Rock Crawling 8:27 How to Rock Crawl 9:36 Broken Arrow Trail Obstacles 11:16 Devil's Staircase 14:25 Broken Arrow Trail Impressions The vehicles we brought with us are: 2009 Lexus GX470 Eibach 3" lift Black Rhino Wheels Rhino Rack Platform Rack and Awning Nitto Tire Ridge Grapplers 2012 Carbon Off-road built Jeep JK 4" Suspension lift 37” Nitto Tire Ridge Grapplers For this journey, Mike brought his nearly-stock Lexus GX470 and Austin is driving his Carbon Off road built Jeep Wrangler JK. Both are equipped with Nitto Ridge Grapplers, yet the vehicles stand pretty far apart in what they can do, and having both on this trial ride illustrates anyone can have fun on this trail. While Broken Arrow is known as an easy trail that most any rig can do, there are plenty of alternate lines and side obstacles where someone with a fully-built rig can have a fun afternoon, too. There is also a good chance you will run into traffic, given that Broken Arrow is the most popular trail in the area, so just be courteous and give plenty of space to the off-roaders and everyone will have a great time. Their journey takes them from the gorgeous vistas of Submarine Rock, perfect for taking some photos, to Chicken Point Overlook, where you can get an up-close look at the wind-swept, stratified cliffs Sedona is known for, to The Slide, one of the most fun obstacles on Broken Arrow, to finally Devil’s Staircase, where you slide your way down some rocks to the end of the trail. Short and easily completed in a morning, this is a journey every off-roader should take. Got a place you want us to explore? Drop us a comment and let us know where we should go next.
