This video contains several video clips from my experience repairing all types of CDLF 2 pumps, specifically the UK and CNP brands Type 9 and Type 11. To clean the impeller and diffuser of a CDLF 2 pump, I usually use a special acid solution made from oxalite and HCl because it's quite difficult to find. In an emergency, I prefer to use a porcelain or ceramic cleaner of any type because it already contains acid and HCl, which is safer than using HCl directly. In this video, I also explain how to disassemble and reassemble the impeller and diffuser assembly of a CDLF pump, starting with the assembly of the impeller, impeller boss, diffuser, and carbon camshaft of the diffuser. This assembly may be unfamiliar to some water technicians, especially those working with RO machines, and may be hesitant to repair them.
