BMW 3.0CSL - The Dream Car

When Richard Diehl worked at BMW in the '70's he came into close contact with several BMW 3.0 CSL race cars as driven by the likes of Jacky Ickx, James Hunt, and Niki Lauda. This was the genesis of his dream to one day re-create a factory correct example of this timeless classic. The result of 7 years hard work, perseverance and vision, Richard's car was modeled after an original and had many parts custom fabricated. The result is a car that not only looks like the classic, but drives, sounds and performs like one freshly ordered from the factory.
