🙌 You've been waiting for it, and it's finally here: the gardens partially reopened this Saturday, June 13, 2026, in the presence of Mayor Ladislas Vergne and city officials. 💗 A first step in the restoration of this iconic location in the heart of the city. A place that has held a special place in the hearts of all Chartres residents for generations. 🌳 You can once again enjoy the upper terrace of the gardens and reach the Saint-Nicolas hill via a safe pathway. ✨ Come and rediscover the magnificent views of the lower town and the cathedral. Or simply take a break on the benches, which have been refurbished for the occasion. 🤝 This reopening was made possible thanks to the collaborative work of technical experts, companies, and state and city services. 🙏 Thank you to them, and thank you for sharing this moving moment. 📆 Garden Hours 📆 Opening: 🔸 7:30 a.m. on weekdays. 🔹 8:00 a.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
