My Guitars - '87 Korean Squier II Stratocaster
This is just a lil demo of my amazing 1987 M.I.K. Squier II Stratocaster... These lil guitars are known for havin GREAT necks, and this one is no exception! The only maple neck Strat that I own... Found it in a local pawn shop, and the cheap pot metal bridge had almost COMPLETELY crumbled, lol... So, she got a bit of a face-lift, lol... All new full size 250k alpha CTS pots, orange drop cap (with added "Blender Mod" wiring) full size "big block" Fender PW-29 bridge with Fender stamped saddles, a GraphTech "Tusq" nut, and I also replaced the trap/crap tuners with the brand new "Pro" version Musiclilly vintage tuners... All in all, a GREAT lil Strat! Also, for this clip I was using my Stage Right 15 watt tube amp by Monoprice... LOVE "The Mighty Mono", lol! And also to compensate for the "missing" finger, I use Ernie Ball "Extra Slinky" .08 gauge strings...
