Mas de las Matas once again donned its period attire to celebrate the Return of the Commander festival. Streets were adorned, taverns were set up, and craft and food stalls filled the air, along with theatrical performances. The main event took place at six o'clock on the afternoon of Saturday, September 21st, when the Commander arrived in a horse-drawn carriage and took possession of the town.
